Our Parent-Baby Dedication at Keltys is not a christening or baptism, but does involve a commitment of our children to God:
“For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he is lent to the LORD.” (1 Samuel 1:27-28)
But even more, it’s a commitment of the parents to God (See Deuteronomy 6:1-15; Psalm 78:5-8; Psalm 127 & 128; and Ephesians 6:4).
How can I participate? There are 3 things required to participate:
- You must be an active member of KFBC for at least 6 months.
- You must have attended one of the KFBC parenting classes (Eternal Principles or Raising Arrows) in the past 3 years (or you may listen online).
- You must agree to our “Ten Commandments of Parenting“
