Title:  We Gather To Hear the Gospel.

Big Idea: Faithfully gather with the church to hear the gospel preached; preach it to yourself; preach it to fellow believers; and preach it to the lost.

A Personal Gospel Catechism to Begin Your Day:

Q1 – Your name, what did God do to save you?

A1 – He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, die a sacrificial death on the Cross, and rise again—defeating death—to rescue you from the eternal wrath of God your sin deserves.

Q2 – Your name, how does God feel about you?

A2 – “He is delighted with you because He is delighted with Jesus His Son,and you are united to Jesus by faith.”  Because the righteousness of Jesus has been given to you, the Father now sees you as righteous.  You are His adopted child forever, a co-heir with Christ.

Q3 – Your name, “why is today a great day?”

A3 – Because today you are one day closer to being with Jesus.  Because despite your circumstances you are forgiven and free.  Because God has prepared good works for you to walk in today—good works that are intended to bless others and bring Him glory.
